Study: Cannabis Helps Manage Symptoms of Crohn’s Disease

A study published in the medical journal Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology has concluded that smoking marijuana twice a day could provide relief from the symptoms of Crohn’s disease.

Conducted on a group of 21 patients with Crohn’s disease, the study used the “gold standard” in medical research — randomized placebo-controlled clinical trial — to conclude that 10 out of 11 patients who received cannabis treatment saw their disease-related symptoms substantially improved.
